Caroline Dwyer, AICP
Caroline holds a Master’s Degree in City & Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is the Transit Planning Manager for Chapel Hill Transit, the second largest transit system in North Carolina. She has over nine years of diverse public and private experience in transportation and land use planning practice, covering all aspects of integrated, sustainable, and resilient urban planning, with a special interest in supporting efficient, useful, and equitable public transportation. Caroline is frequently recognized for leading high-functioning teams, cultivating relationships with stakeholders and decision makers, and successfully executing complex projects. Caroline also serves as the Chair of the American Planning Association’s (APA) Women & Planning Division and the Vice-Chair of APA’s Divisions Council Equity, Diversity, and Inclusiveness (EDI) Committee. Caroline enjoys knitting, podcasts, coffee, and spending time with her family.

Corrin Wendell, AICP
Corrin Wendell, AICP is the Founder and Executive Director of YEP! Youth Engagement Planning, President & Owner of Future Focus Strategies, LLC, Past Chair of APA’s Women & Planning Division, a National and International Keynote Speaker, and a Children's Book Author of “Ava Tanner, the City Planner.” She is a member of AICP and a two-time graduate of The Ohio State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Masters of City and Regional Planning. Corrin's passion for nurturing current and future planners, and her commitment to enhancing the planning profession, were cultivated over a 20-year career spanning diverse planning disciplines including architectural and urban design, regional and land use planning, comprehensive planning, zoning administration, and community and youth engagement. Corrin is a champion for children and her commitment is strongly exemplified through her service to the planning profession including mentorship of students and young professionals, frequent guest lecturing, and teaching urban planning in K-12 classrooms. She has been awarded the APA Minnesota Chapter Planner of the Year Award, APA Women & Planning Division Excellence in Leadership Award, Divisions Council Educational Excellence Achievement Award, the Thornton Education Trust Award for Best International Non-Profit, The Planner 2024 International Woman Planner of Influence, 2024 Public Service Recognition City Planning and Management Division APA, and the APA MN Chapter Planning Excellence Award for Ava Tanner the City Planner.

Fiona Akins, AICP
Fiona served as the Division's Chair for two terms. When she successfully ran for Division Chair in 2014 she proposed three areas of focus: (1) membership (2) organization (3) mentorship.
Under Fiona's leadership:
- Membership increased by 60% between 2015 and 2017.
- The Executive Committee was expanded.
- Division Bylaws were overhauled.
- A more impactful mentorship model was implemented.
Fiona received the APA Divisions Council Chair’s Award in recognition of these accomplishments and many more.
