AICP Funding Awards
The Women & Planning Division proudly provides flexible funding awards helping our members achieve and maintain their AICP credentials.
The 2024 Fall Funding Cycle application portal is open between September 15-October 8, 2024. Funding awards will be announced on October 15, 2024.
Applicants must be members of the Women & Planning Division in good standing! Please note that all funding is awarded on a reimbursement basis. Awardees will be reimbursed for qualified expenses after submitting receipts/ proof of payment to the Division.

Applicants can select one of three flexible funding opportunities:
AICP Annual Dues Award
Covers one year of applicant's annual AICP dues. Note: Members who have received an AICP Dues award in the past are not eligible.
AICP Exam Preparation Award
Provides up to $200 for exam preparation course materials, books, and other support the applicant needs to successfully prepare for the AICP exam. Eligible uses of this award include transportation to exam or exam preparation courses, childcare, and other situation-specific needs. Note: Members who have received an AICP Exam Preparation award in the past are not eligible.
AICP Exam Fees Award
Provides funding for the AICP Test Registration Fee and/or the AICP Planning Experience Assessment. Note: Members who have received an AICP Exam Preparation award in the past are not eligible.

Applicants will be asked to provide:
- Name
- Email adress
- Award type (selected from the options above)
- Requested funding amount
- A brief summary (200 words or less) describing how this funding award will impact your AICP-related goals.
- A brief summary (200 words or less) describing the importance of the AICP credential to your planning career/ professional development.
- AICP Exam and/or Planning Experience Assessment Date (if applicable)
- A brief description of how you will use funding awarded for exam preparation (if applicable)
