Momentum Microgrant Funding Awards
FY27 Funding Awards Now Available
APA Women & Planning Division is committed to removing financial barriers to career advancement for our members. WPD created the "Momentum Microgrant" program to provide members with flexible, small-scale funding supporting their continued professional advancement. Members may request up to $300 to apply towards any professional development expenses. Example requests include, but are not limited to, AICP exam preparation materials, AICP exam and experience fees, APA/AICP annual dues, continuing education courses, planning books, conference registration fees, special projects, and hosting local WPD events or meetups. The Division will evaluate funding requests and award Momentum Microgrants until the program's annual budget ($3,000) is depleted. "Momentum Microgrant" funding requests will be awarded on a monthly rolling basis. Notifications will be sent via email and a list of recipients will be posted on the Division's website.
