Recognizing Outstanding Professional Contributions

Each year, the Catalyst Award recognizes three outstanding members of APA’s Women & Planning Division whose exceptional professional contributions have advanced women in the planning profession. Recipients receive a $1,000 unrestricted award recognizing their achievements and supporting their continued leadership, professional development, and future projects. Potential recipients are nominated and evaluated by a Division nominating committee and the awards are announced and celebrated during Women’s History Month each March.
